PROJECTS

Dadar Beach Cleaning Initiative (2022)

On October 2nd, we organized a beach cleaning activity involving students from Kirti College. With great dedication, we put in hours of hard work to ensure the beach was free from litter. Emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation, we made a concerted effort to prevent further pollution by urging everyone to refrain from littering.

With the assistance of horticulture experts, we carefully planted trees and plants to attract and support butterfly populations. This initiative aimed to create a favorable habitat for butterflies, fostering their presence and contributing to the overall biodiversity of the area.

Creation of Check Dam in Khanavali District, Dahanu (2022)

The residents of Khinavali district have been compelled to frequently relocate due to recurring water shortages. To address and alleviate this problem, we undertook the construction of a check dam. This check dam has a water-holding capacity of 10,000,000 liters. It spans a length of 35 meters, with a width of 4 meters and a depth of 4 meters. This infrastructure project aims to provide a reliable water source for the community, mitigating the need for constant displacement and fostering stability in the region.

Environmental Learning Workshop for Visually Impaired Students (2022)

We visited Kirti College and collaborated with them to organize a camp aimed at assisting visually impaired individuals in walking, playing games, and identifying objects. With their support, we were able to create an inclusive and engaging environment where blind individuals could enhance their mobility, participate in recreational activities, and develop skills for object recognition.

Provision of a Suction Machine to Wadia Hospital (2021)

A suction machine is a medical device designed primarily for the removal of obstructions such as mucus, saliva, blood, or secretions from an individual's airway. Recognizing the inadequate facilities at Wadia Children's Hospital to accommodate the influx of sick children, we provided them with a suction machine. This contribution aimed to enhance their ability to effectively manage respiratory conditions and ensure the well-being of the newly arrived patients.

Provision of Defibrillators to Kandawadi Hospital (2021)

During the pandemic, numerous individuals experienced cardiac arrests, overwhelming several hospitals that lacked sufficient resources. Recognizing the critical situation, we extended support to Kanda Wadi Hospital, which faced a shortage of defibrillators. This initiative aimed to enhance their capacity to respond effectively and save lives during these challenging times.

Rainwater Harvesting Project in Dhule, Maharashtra (2020)

The project was initiated in response to the severe water scarcity in the college and hostel premises. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we collaborated with the Lion's Club of Dhule to undertake the project. We also received valuable assistance from the Lion Governor Nitin Bang. Together, we worked diligently to address the water shortage issue and ensure a sustainable water supply for the college and hostel.

Provision of a Walk-in Sanitizer for a Hospital (2020)

During the pandemic, hospitals became primary hotspots for the spread of Covid19. To ensure the safety of patients, we provided a sanitization gate to the hospital. This measure aimed to mitigate the risk of infection and create a safer environment within the healthcare facility.

Rainwater Harvesting Project in Mumbai (2019)

Kamla Mehta High School serves as a hostel for girls as well as a school for the blind. One of the challenges they faced was a dry well on the premises. To address this issue, we partnered with the Lions Club of Shivaji Park to undertake the project. We installed a pipe from the terrace, attached a filter to it, and directed the water to the well, ensuring a sustainable water supply.
